Stephen Leslie is a London-based street photographer, writer, and filmmaker with more than thirty years of experience photographing both in the UK and abroad. His work has appeared in numerous publications and platforms including The Guardian, The Observer, LensCulture, Huck, Time Out, and The Phoblographer. His projects have also featured in Unseen London (Hoxton Mini Press), and his books Sparks and Mostly False Reports combine photography and writing in a distinctive and deeply personal way.

During the evening, Stephen will speak about his photographic process, his continued work with film photography, the ethics and philosophy of street photography, the role of chance and spontaneity in image-making, and several of his ongoing projects. He will also share and discuss his book Mostly False Reports, copies of which will be available on the night.

The evening promises to be thoughtful, lively, visually rich, and full of engaging discussion. We very much look forward to welcoming Stephen and to seeing many of you there for what promises to be a wonderful evening together.
