Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently holding our meetings via Zoom. Print competitions remain a separate category, but are subject to the same rules as PDI.
At the HPS, we strive to provide an inspiring programme for our members. The core is a series of talks by outside speakers, covering diverse topics such as photojournalism, the art of photography, urban/street photography, and travel photography.
Several HPS members are highly expert in digital photography, and we hold regular talks on digital techniques using our own digital projector.
We hold regular competitions, judged by external specialists. These give members a chance to show their work, and have it assessed.
We hold informal Members’ evenings where members can exchange ideas and obtain advice.
