An exploration of creative photography
Photography has never been so easy, nor so difficult. While digital cameras and smartphones now deliver flawless exposures and razor-sharp focus, technology alone cannot create photographs that captivate or carry meaning. Benedict’s illuminating talk explores the art of image-making.
For over seven years, Benedict has shared his insights in his monthly column The Art of Seeing. His approach focuses on the artistic and philosophical motivations behind creating images rather than the technical process. In this illustrated talk, he presents photographs from a wide-ranging body of work drawn from his extensive global travels.
