Here is what Mike says about his work

Produced purely by happenstance …. wherever possible showing life as it is – uncompromising, real – capturing people with energy and candour. My images are unposed, uncontrived, in the moment. Making it fresh exciting and bold. Using light and framing to stimulate intrigue, imagination and hopefully, a desire to see more.

His work has been published in glossy high end magazines, including Vogue and Imagina (in Italy), and even in a Chinese Photography Year Book. Surprisingly, as he doesn’t take his work that seriously, Whatever, he’a won awards from cups, bronze, silver and gold medals and been shown in galleries and salons right across the world. Behind the scenes, since 2014 he’s also had fun giving talks on some of the unique aspects of his work to Photoclubs in Italy, the PAGB, the RTPS and The Royal Photographic Society. That said, these days most of his work is for private commissions. With a focus on personality. As it happens, today he’s been interviewed by a senior Italian journalist working for a major international magazine consortium. So he’s rather curious to know what they make of his stuff.
